Brought over another load of horse manure on Sunday and before I got out of the garden, the birds were busy tearing it up and scattering it around. Must be some grain left in it.
Yesterday Moodini decided to get into being a Mooovie star and dressed up like Hitler. He is getting shoved around a lot by Houdini but is holding his own and shoves back.
It was cold and windy yesterday but the bunny hunters came out for one last hunt. The hounds were running all over the place howling like crazy dogs.
Dusty doesn't like bunny hunters so when they come over, I put him in the west pasture and feed him hay. He stands on the hill top most of the time and watches the hounds run.
It was warmer this morning and we had kind of a blue cloudy sunrise. The sun came out later and I will work on repairing the water hoses this afternoon. I came to town to get new connectors, they take a beating in the sub freezing temperatures.
The birds are at work in the garden again today. I picked up some more laying pellets this morning as they are starting to lay better now so I will take them off of corn and oyster shell and see how they do.
