Saturday 2/23

Cloudy and cool the last couple days, here is a view of the palletsade at the corner where I had the most animals entering the garden. No deer or groundhogs got in last year so it seems to be working. In other areas I used black plastic to provide the low visual barrier and keep the little critters out.
Yesterday morning we had a littl snow which soon melted but was enough to cancel school.
Hay eating again after finishing up the morning corn.

  1. I'll bet the kids were happy, no school! Remember those days when you'd wake up and wait for them to announce school was closed?

    1. It seems to happen every friday here this year. We used to have to get right much snow before they called it off back then. The bus drivers carried chains.

    1. The calves are used to getting their photos taken and I think they make funny faces at times now. They will be glad for the grass to grow.

    1. Yes his horns are coming out now and he is the one to moo when he sees us so we named him Moodini for good reason.
I still have pallets left over, I got as many as I could before they stopped giving them away.
