It was sunny and nice on Wednesday, the bees even were out flying around, not sure what they were after so I put some sugar water out but didn't see them mess with it.
Went over to the east garden and worked up another bed for spring use. Then my buddy Greg came out and we went into town for lunch. Nice day to be out and about.
When we got back from lunch, Houdini came up to the gate and said hello, actually he said moo but I translated.
The sun really lit up Dusty's stall so I took a photo after filling up his hay. Nice and warm in there but of course he stands outside even if it rains, guess he gets hot.
Here he is looking for a treat but he already got one so too bad baby!
Cloudy and damp all day so I put 2 wheel barrow loads of manure on the main garden and then dug up another raised bed in the east garden, that just leaves 2 small beds along the wall and I will be done with this area.
Raining now and in the upper 30s F when we left home, supposed to be windy but no snow here.
Dusty and houdini are looking great! I could send you some snow, I would gladly share!
ReplyDeleteI don't want any, keep it at your house! Winter starts tomorrow and I feel like it has been here for a couple of months already, I am getting my mind set for spring!
DeleteWe had 55 mph wind gusts today and 35 mph sustained winds! It was freezing and miserable out all day!!! We are supposed to have snow Christmas day, that will be neat but winter can end anyday now! I miss hangin' outside with my critters! Houdini is soo cute!
ReplyDeleteThe wind finally stopped saturday evening and is calm and warmer today(sunday), it was not fun trying to work in it.
DeleteI told houdini that you guys say he is cute but he already knew he was cute. Oh well.
We had light flurries earlier but nothing that stuck.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't have a good flurry, I think they were all blown into the next county before they could fall.
DeleteHoudini is adorable! Great pictures :)
ReplyDeleteMoodini is taking lessons on being cute from houdini, they are ready for fresh grass but I will let them eat hay and wait awhile as winter has just begun.
